Gcalk.org respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the site to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on our site, please follow the DMCA notice procedure below.
How to Submit a Copyright Infringement Notice (DMCA Notice)
To file a complaint, please send a written notice that includes the following information. Providing complete information helps us process your request quickly.
- Your full legal name, company (if applicable), and a valid email address and telephone number where you can be reached.
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed (for example: title, registration number, date of creation, or a detailed description).
- Identification of the infringing material — provide the exact URL(s) on Gcalk.org where the infringing material appears (copy and paste full URLs).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature (if sending by email, a typed full name at the end of the message is accepted as an electronic signature).

What We Will Do?
When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will take action expeditiously. Typical actions include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content and notifying the party who posted the content that we have removed it.
We will also make reasonable efforts to notify the alleged infringer so they may submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was a mistake.
How to Submit a Counter-Notice?
If your content was removed or disabled due to a DMCA complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your full legal name, address, and telephone number.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal (provide the original URL if known).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or if you are outside the U.S., a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice).
- Your physical or electronic signature (typed full name is acceptable for emailed counter-notices).
Send counter-notices to: info@gcalk.org with subject line DMCA Counter-Notice
Repeat Infringer Policy
Gcalk.org has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts or access privileges of users who are repeat infringers. We will also disable access to content posted by repeat infringers when appropriate.
Other Important Notes
- The DMCA is a U.S. law. If you are located outside the U.S., please ensure you understand local legal implications of submitting notices or counter-notices.
- Submitting a false or fraudulent DMCA notice or counter-notice may expose you to legal liability.
- We may forward your notice or counter-notice to the person who posted the allegedly infringing content.
